The Okinawa Oki100 electric bike has been finally teased by the manufacturer. Here’s everything you can expect from the upcoming motorcycle.
We had caught up with Okinawa’s Managing Director and got to know quite some interesting details about the production version of the Oki100. The Oki100 will offer performance similar to 125cc petrol-powered commuter motorcycles. It will come with a claimed range of 150km and will be powered by a frame-mounted electric motor. Expect the bike to get a telescopic front fork, rear mono-shock, disc brake on both ends with CBS in terms of underpinnings. As far as the features are concerned, the upcoming electric bike will get smartphone connectivity and an all-LED lighting system.

2. Tork T6X
The Tork T6X is Featuring several first-in-class features, the T6X is pegged as an eco-friendly alternative to petrol-powered commuter motorcycles. It is propelled by a brushless 6kW motor rated at 27Nm of torque, powered by lithium-ion batteries. On a full charge, the T6X can cover 100 kilometers. The battery can be charged to 80 percent of its capacity in just 60 minutes. The T6X gets a 267mm disc brake at the front and a 220mm disc brake at the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires.
Tork hasn’t skimped on the features list either. The T6X comes equipped with a TFT digital touch screen console, mobile charger, GPS navigation, anti-theft system, and DRLs. The T6X also gets an anti-theft mechanism.
The T6X isn’t the first of the company’s enterprises, as Tork had previously also rolled out a Yamaha FZ prototype retrofitted with an electric motor, though it failed to make a mark in the Indian market. The T6X though has been developed from the ground up as a brand new product.

3. Evolet Hawk
The Evolet Hawk will be Rissala Electric Motors’ full-faired electric sportbike, and is expected to be launched in the first half of 2020. The Hawk has an attractive and sporty design, and looks sharp, in the flesh with its sculpted front fairing, and projector headlamp. It will get clip-on handlebars, and a full-digital instrument console, along with telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear suspension.
Braking is handled by twin discs on the front wheel, and a single disc brake set-up on the rear wheel. The wheels are 17-inch at both ends and will be shod with tubeless rubber. The Evolet Hawk claims a top speed of 80 kmph, with a claimed range of 150 km on a single charge. Charging time is rated at 5 hours. The Evolet Hawk will also likely get the dedicated Evolet mobile app, which will offer a long list of features, including service reminders, service appointments, over-the-air updates, and geo-fencing.
So far, the company hasn’t disclosed the hardware used in the Evolet Hawk, but we expect it to be powered by a brushless DC motor and lithium-ion battery. Going by the attractive prices of the first electric scooters from Evolet, the Hawk will likely be priced under Rs. 1.5 lakh, in our estimates, at around Rs. 1 – 1.25 lakh.

4. Ultraviolette F77
The Ultraviolet F77 electric motorcycle draws its design inspiration from the aviation space. The motorcycle sports a modern look and sure to be head-turner when seen on the streets. Internet connectivity, smartphone application, fully-digital instrument cluster, ABS, regenerative braking and more.
The motorcycle houses three batteries of 4.2kWh each paired with an electric motor producing 33.5bhp and 90Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a chain-drive set-up. The company claims the F77 can reach 0 to 100kmph in 2.9 seconds and carry on to reach a top speed of 147kmph. The Ultraviolet F77 features a 150km riding range on a single charge from its 3 batteries. It also features fast charging that can take the batteries from 0 to 80 percent in 50 minutes.
