The new Hayabusa receives massive upgrades for 2021 compared to earlier generations. In terms of styling, Suzuki has also cleverly retained the design silhouette of the previous generation Hayabusa while offering the new-gen model a more aggressive appeal. It also gets full-LED lighting for the headlamp, turn signals, and the tail lamp that lend it a fresher appeal.
2021 Suzuki Hayabusa Features
Suzuki has given the 2021 Hayabusa a host of new features. The bike now gets LED lights, a new TFT inlay in the instrument console that displays the different electronic settings. For the first time, the Hayabusa receives a comprehensive electronics suite, which includes 10-level traction control, 10-level wheelie control; three levels of the engine brake control and launch control, and the new Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS). The SDMS comprises three presets and three user-defined modes. The new Hayabusa even gets a quick-shifter and hill assist control.
2021 Suzuki Hayabusa Engine
The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by the same 1340cc, in-line four-cylinder engine as the older model; however, it is now BS6 compliant. It produces 190PS at 9,700rpm and 150Nm at 7,000rpm which is 7PS and 5Nm less than that of its predecessor.

The previous model’s breaking wasn’t effective and hence the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa gets bigger, 320mm discs paired with top-of-the-line Brembo Style calipers upfront and Nissin calipers at the rear. Suspension duties are carried out by fully adjustable 43mm KYB forks, offering 120mm travel and KYB mono-shock. Suzuki claims the suspension has received updated components for better stability.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2R gets a dual semi-floating 330mm discs with a dual radial-mount, opposed 4-piston calliper and a single 250mm disc with an opposed 2-piston calliper.
