1. Husqvarna Svartpilen 201
A prototype of the Svartpilen 200 has been spotted outside Bajaj’s Chakan plant by a colleague of BikeDekho.com, suggesting that the motorcycle could be launched as soon as early next year.
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 200 has been spotted testing by one of our colleagues near Bajaj’s plant in Chakan. The black and white test mule looked identical to the international-spec version albeit with a few changes.
The styling of the new Husqvarna bike is similar to its bigger sibling, the Svartpilen 250, complete with scrambler-like looks, braced handlebar and upright ergonomics. Feature-wise, it gets an all-digital instrument console and an all-LED lighting system. Like the quarter-liter scrambler sold here, the India-spec Svartpilen 200 also gets a large single-piece grab rail.
Powering the bike is the same 199.5cc single-cylinder engine that does duty on the KTM 200 Duke, producing 25PS and 19.3Nm and working alongside a 6-speed transmission.

2. Husqvarna Svartpilen 401
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is expected to launch in India in October 2022 in the expected price range of ₹ 2, 70,000 to ₹ 2, 80,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to Svartpilen 401 are Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, KTM 390 Duke & Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. 3. Husqvarna Vitpilen 401
The Vitpilen 401 is likely to look similar to the international-spec bike. What makes us believe so is the recent spy image which showcases the Svartpilen 401 with spoke wheels. The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 will be launched in India by the end of the year or by early-2021.
Husqvarna unveiled the MY2020 Svartpilen 401 at the 2019 EICMA. Apart from new colors and updated graphics, both motorcycles now get a 40mm longer rear subframe along with a more comfortable seat. Even the rider seat appears to be scooped out for better comfort the motor and power train remain unchanged.
The Vitpilen 401 is powered by a 373.3cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 43.5PS of power and 37Nm of torque, same as the BS6 KTM 390 Duke. In terms of hardware, the bike employs a steel trellis frame, a 43mm USD fork, and a monoshock from WP.
Braking duties are handled by a large 320mm disc up front and a 230mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.
