As I told you, this is the entry-level bike from BMW Motorrad. The BMW G 310 R model has been developed by BMW Motorrad in association with India’s famous bike manufacturer TVS Motor.

This model is BMW’s first and most advanced sub-500cc bike, meaning it uses the smallest engine (313 cc) compared to other BMW models. BMW first showcased it as a model to the world in November 2015 and officially launched in 2018. This is BMW Motorrad’s first low-end sporty motorbike.

BMW Motorrad recently launched this model with prices starting from 2.45 lakh rupees in Delhi ex-showroom. This price is for the BS6 model of BMW, while the price of the BS4 model is 54,000 rupees cheaper than this.

The BMW G 310 R BS6 is currently available in three new livery (Cosmic Black, Polar White and Limestone Metallic) and Sport Style. However, the price for the Sport Style model is 10,000 rupees more.

As I told you earlier in this article that the smallest engine has been used in it, meaning it uses a 313 cc water-cooled engine, and also includes a single cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve engine. The bike is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that produces 34 PS of maximum power at 9,250 rpm and 28 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm.

To keep the bike cool, a liquid cooled system has been added and an injection type fuel supply feature is available. The bore and stroke of the bike are 80 mm and 62.1 mm respectively. And the compression ratio of the bike is 10.9:1. BMW Motorrad has designed it on India’s BS6 emission norms.
